(Appointed on 13.08.2025) Shri Ratnakar Patnaik has taken charge as Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation of India on 1st, June 2025. Prior to taking charge as the Managing Director, he was Executive Director (Investment- Front Office) & Chief Investment Officer.

(Appointed on 09.06.2023) Mr. Pranay Kumar has taken over the charge of Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) Limited from 9th June 2023. He has been given this charge on deputation as expatriate officer by L.I.C. of India.

(Appointed on 12-01-2026 ) Mr. Vishal Agrawal, a MBA in Finance & Computer Information Systems and a BBA in Economics & Finance from Georgia College & State University, USA, is the Chairman of Yeti Brewery Pvt. Ltd. and Vishal Group Ltd. He is also the Managing Director of Pooja International Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and Director of Solu Hydropower Ltd.

(Appointed on 13.08.2025) Shri Permendra Hari, on his elevation to the Cadre of Executive Director has taken charge as Zonal Manager of East-Central Zone on 10-04-2025. He joined LIC as Direct Recruit Officer of 18th batch on 02.09.1990. He is a Physics Graduate from Delhi University.

Mrs. Komal Agrawal has taken over the charge of Public Director effective from 2082 Ashadh 30(14th July 2025) after unanimously elected as Public Director from 23rd AGM of the Company.
Mrs. Agrawal is an Executive MBA (specialization in Marketing and BBA (specialization in Finance) by qualification.

(Appointed on 29th October, 2025) Mrs. Shubhangi Soman retired in March 2022 as the CFO and Executive Director of LIC of India after an accomplished 37-year career. She joined LIC in 1985 as a Chartered Accountant and later served as a Research Associate at the National Insurance Academy, presenting research in national and international forums.
